Test P: Right Turn Indicator Inoperative

  1. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Disconnect instrument cluster connector C224. Turn ignition switch to RUN position. Place multifunction in switch in RIGHT turn position. Measure voltage in between ground and terminal No. 14 (Light Green/White wire) at instrument cluster connector C224. See Figure. If battery voltage is not present, go to next step. If battery voltage exists, replace instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION.
  2. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Disconnect multifunction switch connector C250. Measure resistance of White/Light Blue wire between terminal No. 2 at multifunction switch connector C250 and terminal No. 14 at instrument cluster connector C224. See Figure and Figure . If resistance is 5 ohms or less, go to next step. If resistance is more than 5 ohms, repair open in White/Light Blue wire between multifunction switch and instrument cluster.
  3. Turn ignition switch to LOCK position. Check for continuity across right turn indicator bulb. If continuity does not exist, replace bulb. Retest system. If continuity exists, replace instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER  under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION. Retest system.
