Removal & Installation (2.3L)

Disconnect negative battery cable. Release fuel pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE . Remove intake manifold. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION (2.3L)  under INTAKE MANIFOLD under AIR INDUCTION SYSTEMS. Disconnect vacuum hose at fuel pulse damper. Remove retaining clip and remove fuel pulse damper. To install, reverse removal procedure. Lubricate "O" rings with clean engine oil.
