Removal & Installation (2.3L)

- Disconnect negative battery cable. Release fuel pressure. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE . Remove intake manifold. See REMOVAL & INSTALLATION (2.3L) under INTAKE MANIFOLD under AIR INDUCTION SYSTEMS. Disconnect fuel injector connectors. Disconnect fuel injector harness from fuel injector supply manifold.
- Disconnect fuel line from injection supply manifold. See FUEL LINE CONNECTORS . Remove bolts and spacer insulators. Remove fuel injection supply manifold. Remove injectors from fuel injection supply manifold and discard "O" rings. Lubricate NEW injector "O" rings with clean engine oil. DO NOT use silicone grease. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS .
