Starting Concerns

No Start/Hard Start, Normal Crank - ALT Fuel

NOTE: Verify vehicle application and software calibration.

NOTE: Extended cranking because of a no start can load the exhaust system with raw fuel, damaging the catalytic converter after the engine starts.

NOTE: If the ALT fuel switch indicator comes on then goes off the vehicle may auto switch to gasoline mode.

ALT Fuel Switch Indicator Is On Then Off	GO to Pinpoint Test AC .
ALT Fuel Switch Indicator Is On Steady	GO to Pinpoint Test AD .
ALT Fuel Switch Indicator Is Off	GO to Pinpoint Test AE .
If engine is now a no start: Idle Air Control (IAC) System	Refer to INTRODUCTION - CNG, FLEX-FUEL & GASOLINE .
