Test Procedure

  1. AL1 PRELIMINARY DIAGNOSIS FOR DTC P1705 
    • Carry out the visual inspection.
    • Connect the scan tool.
    • Retrieve and record all DTCs.
    • Clear all DTCs.
    • Carry out the On-Demand Self Test.

    IS DTC 1705 PRESENT? 

    Yes No
    refer to the appropriate AUTOMATIC TRANSMISSION article for DTC relating to transmission diagnosis. Unable to duplicate condition. CHECK for loose connections, damaged or corroded pins. WIGGLE harness attempting to recreate fault.
