Recommended Procedure:

If the test fails, GO to PINPOINT TEST KA: TURBO CHARGER SYSTEM PERFORMANCE

- Key on, engine running.
- Access and monitor the MGP, EGR_DC, RPM, and VGTDC PIDS.
- Control the RPM_DSD PID to 1,200 RPM and EGRDC PID to 0%.
- Decrease the VGTDC PID to 0% and record the MGP PID value.
- Increase the VGTDC PID to 85% and record the MGP PID value.
- Decrease the VGTDC PID to 0% and record the MGP PID value.
If the MGP PID values are within specifications, go to the next step. If the MGP PID values are not within specifications, GO to PINPOINT TEST KA: TURBO CHARGER SYSTEM PERFORMANCE .
