Camshaft Position (CMP) Sensor

- Disconnect the battery ground cable.
- If removing the LH camshaft position (CMP) sensor, remove the air cleaner assembly. For additional information, refer to AIR CLEANER ASSEMBLY in this section.
- If removing the LH CMP sensor, remove the throttle body. For additional information, refer to THROTTLE BODY in this section.
- Remove the retainer from the fuel line bracket and position the fuel rail aside.
- Remove the components in the order indicated in the following illustration and table. See Fig 1. To remove individual components, carry out only the listed steps. See COMPONENT CHART .COMPONENT CHART

- Remove the fuel hose bracket bolt.
