Halfshaft Seal RH: Installation

All vehicles

Using the special tools, install the RH halfshaft seal.

Install the dust shield.

NOTE: Clean the intermediate shaft before assembly. Use 600 grit sandpaper on seal journals and wipe dry.

Install the front drive axle intermediate shaft. Refer to INTERMEDIATE SHAFT .
Vehicles with 3.0L engine
Install the heat shield.
- Install the three bolts.

Install the exhaust system crossover pipe.
All vehicles
Check the transfer case oil level. Refer to TRANSFER CASE DRAINING AND FILLING .
Check the transaxle fluid level. Refer to CHECKING FLUID LEVEL .
