Test Procedure

  1. TP1 CONTINUOUS MEMORY DTC P0A44: CHECK FOR CORRECT TRACTION MOTOR RPM DURING THE ROAD TEST 
    NOTE: Refer to VEHICLE SPEED KM/H (MPH) AND TRACTION MOTOR RPM  for correct traction motor to vehicle speed correlations.
    • Clear the TCM DTCs.
    • Access the TCM and monitor the VSS and M_SPEED PIDs.
    • Road test the vehicle.
    • Record traction motor RPM at different vehicle speeds.

    Does the traction motor RPM correspond with the vehicle speed? 

    Yes No
    Unable to duplicate or identify the fault at this time.
    RETURN to SYMPTOM CHARTS to continue diagnosis.    		 INSTALL a new transaxle assembly.
