Removal & Installation

  1. Release fuel pressure from lines. See FUEL SYSTEM PRESSURE RELEASE (FUEL LINE VENTING) . Disconnect negative battery cable.
  2. Raise and support vehicle. Disconnect fuel tank temperature sensor harness connector C3124. Fuel tank temperature sensor connector is in center fuel tank solenoid valve. See Figure. Remove fuel tank temperature sensor. To install, replace "O" rings on fuel tank temperature sensor and spacer. Lubricate NEW "O" rings with motor oil. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure.
