Drive Pinion Flange and Drive Pinion Seal: Removal

- With the vehicle in NEUTRAL, position it on a hoist. For additional information, refer to JACKING & LIFTING .
- Remove the driveshaft. For additional information, refer to REMOVAL AND INSTALLATION .
- Remove and discard the drive pinion flange nut.
- Using the special tool, remove the drive pinion flange.
- Remove and, if necessary, discard the drive pinion seal.
