P1A03 - DRIVE MOTOR A SHUTDOWN CIRCUIT
| Description: | The TCM continuously monitors the motor shutdown (MSDN) circuit and the CAN signal for an MSDN request from the PCM. This DTC is set when the PCM requests traction motor shutdown through the CAN signal or if there is an MSDN circuit fault. The traction motor inverter will be disabled. | ||

| Diagnostic Aids: | With the PCM and TCM connected and KOEO, check the MSDN signal frequency. If the frequency is between 49 and 75 Hz DC, no circuit problem is indicated and PCM traction motor shutdown is requested. | ||
