DTC P1000: OBD Systems Readiness Test Not Complete

P1000 - OBD SYSTEMS READINESS TEST NOT COMPLETE

Description:  DTC P1000 indicates all of the OBD monitors have not yet been successfully tested.
Possible Causes: 
  • The vehicle is new from the factory.
  • 12 volt battery or PCM had recently been disconnected.
  • An OBD monitor failure occurred before completion of an OBD drive cycle.
  • PCM DTCs have recently been cleared with a diagnostic tool.
Diagnostic Aids:  The DTC does not need to be cleared from the PCM except to pass an inspection/maintenance test.
Application  Key On Engine Off  Key On Engine Running  Continuous Memory 
All See (1) See (1) GO to Pinpoint Test QC .
(1) DTC P1000 is ignored in the key on, engine off (KOEO) and key on, engine running (KOER) self-tests. Disregard DTC P1000 and continue as directed.
