Disassembly and Assembly

- Remove the second row, 20 percent seat. For additional information, refer to REAR SEAT - 20 PERCENT, SECOND ROW .
- Remove the second row 20 percent seat backrest. For additional information, refer to REAR SEAT BACKREST - SECOND ROW, 20 PERCENT .
- Release the seat cushion trim cover J-clips attaching the seat cushion trim cover to the cushion pan.
- Remove the seat cushion foam pad and trim cover from the seat pan.
- Remove the seat cushion trim cover from the foam pad.
- Remove the bolts and the storage hinge assembly.
- To install, tighten to 23 Nm (17 lb-ft).
- Remove the screw and the pull strap.
- Remove the storage hinge cover and storage bin.
- Remove the pin and the catch.
- Remove the 2 bolts and the latch.
- To install, tighten to 80 Nm (59 lb-ft).
- Remove the bolt and the safety belt buckles.
- To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
- Remove the 2 pivot bracket bolts.
- To install, tighten to 23 Nm (17 lb-ft).
- Remove the pivot bolt, bushing and the pivot bracket.
- To install, tighten to 40 Nm (30 lb-ft).
- To assemble, reverse the disassembly procedure.
NOTE:
On assembly, make sure to feed the pull strap through the seat cushion foam pad and trim cover.
NOTE:
Use care when separating the seat upholstery from the hook and loop strip, or the hook and loop strip can be torn from the seat cushion foam pad.
