Oil Pump: Installation

Rotate oil pump inner rotor to align with flats on crankshaft. Position oil pump on cylinder block. Install oil pump retaining bolts. Tighten bolts in reverse order of removal sequence. See Figure. Tighten retaining bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS . To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Tighten remaining bolts/nuts to specification.
