Test Dg: Barometric Pressure Sensor: Testing

NOTE: Proceed to DTC testing steps listed in FAULT CODE SETTING CONDITION  table of fault code setting condition.
FAULT CODE SETTING CONDITION

Fault Code KOEO KOER Continuous Memory
P0107 1   DG1    DG3
P0108 1   DG2    DG4

For Federal emission models Malfunction Indicator Lamp (MIL) illuminates when fault is detected.
    NOTE: For additional testing information, see DIAGNOSTIC AIDS .

  1. 1) KOEO DTC P0107: BARO Circuit Low Input
    This DTC indicates BARO sensor circuit low input was detected during KOEO on-demand self-test. Repeat KOEO ON-DEMAND SELF-TEST  under QUICK TEST. If DTC P0107 is present, BARO sensor is defective. Replace PCM. If DTC P0107 is not present, fault is intermittent. If DTC P0107 reappears, replace PCM.

  2. 2) KOEO DTC P0108: BARO Circuit High Input
    This DTC indicates BARO sensor circuit high input was detected during KOEO on-demand self-test. Repeat KOEO ON-DEMAND SELF-TEST  under QUICK TEST. If DTC P0108 is present, BARO sensor is defective. Replace PCM. If DTC P0108 is not present, fault is intermittent. If DTC P0108 reappears, replace PCM.

  3. 3) Continuous Memory DTC P0107: BARO Circuit Low Input
    This DTC indicates BARO sensor circuit low input was detected during normal operation. Repeat KOEO ON-DEMAND SELF-TEST  under QUICK TEST. If KOEO DTC P0107 is present, BARO sensor is defective. Replace PCM. If KOEO DTC P0107 is not present, fault is intermittent. If DTC P0107 reappears, replace PCM.

  4. 4) Continuous Memory DTC P0108: BARO Circuit High Input
    This DTC indicates BARO sensor circuit high input was detected during normal operation. Repeat KOEO ON-DEMAND SELF-TEST  under QUICK TEST. If KOEO DTC P0108 is present, BARO sensor is defective. Replace PCM. Clear DTCs and repeat QUICK TEST . If KOEO DTC P0108 is not present, fault is intermittent. If DTC P0108 resets, replace PCM.
