Pressure Bleeding Procedure

  1. Exhaust vacuum from power brake unit by pressing brake pedal several times. Fill master cylinder with clean brake fluid. Ensure pressure bleeder is at least half full and charged to 10-30 psi. Connect pressure bleeder to master cylinder according to manufacturer's instructions. Open valve on bleeder tank.
  2. Install clear vinyl bleeder hose onto first bleeder screw to be serviced. See BRAKELINE BLEEDING SEQUENCE  table. Place other end of hose in clean transparent container. Partially fill container with clean brake fluid.
  3. Open bleeder screw 3/4 of a turn. Allow fluid to run until flow of fluid is clear and shows no signs of air bubbles. Proceed to next bleeder screw in sequence and repeat procedure. Close valve on bleeder tank and remove pressure bleeder from master cylinder. Fill master cylinder with clean brake fluid. Clean all spillage.
