Lower Control Arm: Installation
- Position lower control arm in crossmember. Ensure bolts are installed in proper direction. See Fig 1 . Install nut and tighten until snug. DO NOT tighten nut to specified torque at this time.
- Inspect lower ball joint boot seal for damage and replace if required. Install coil spring. With vehicle in normal ride height position, tighten lower control arm-to-crossmember bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS table.
