Removal & Installation: Camshaft: Removal

Disconnect negative battery cable. Remove radiator. Remove oil pump. See OIL PUMP . Remove camshaft position sensor and camshaft position sensor synchronizer. See CMP SYNCHRONIZER . Remove lifters. See VALVE LIFTERS . Remove timing chain. See TIMING CHAIN . Remove camshaft thrust plate. Remove camshaft.
