Pinpoint Test HH - Anti-Lock Warning Never/Always On

  1. Turn ignition on. Observe EIC display. If warning is always on, go to next step. If warning is never on, go to step 4).
  2. Unplug anti-lock brake control module, located at left front of vehicle, on front of upper radiator support. If warning remains on, go to next step. If warning is no longer on, replace anti-lock brake control module.
  3. Turn ignition off. Unplug connector C254 from EIC. See Figure . Inspect Dark Green wire for continuity between connector C254 terminal No. 10 and anti-lock brake control module. Repair wire as necessary. If wire is okay, replace EIC.
  4. Perform step 4) of PINPOINT TEST HA  . If all voltages are as specified, go to next step. Repair appropriate wire if voltages are not as specified.
  5. Turn ignition off. Unplug anti-lock brake control module, located at left front of vehicle, on front of upper radiator support. Connect jumper wire from harness connector terminal No. 52 (Dark Green wire) to ground. Turn ignition on. If warning is not on, go to next step. If warning is now on, replace anti-lock brake control module.
  6. Remove jumper wire. Unplug connector C254 from EIC. Inspect Dark Green wire for continuity between connector terminal No. 10 and anti-lock brake control module. Repair wire as necessary. If wire is okay, replace EIC.
