Intake Manifold: Installation

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Apply light coat of engine oil on mounting studs before installing retaining nuts. Tighten retaining nuts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  table at end of article.
  2. When installing fuel lines, install new "O" rings on fuel lines. Use only specified fuel resistant "O" rings (Brown in color). Lightly coat "O" rings with clean engine oil before installing. Clean fittings and replace garter spring (if necessary).
  3. Adjust control cables if necessary. Fill cooling system with Ford Coolant (E2FZ-19549-AA).
