Water Pump

  1. Drain cooling system. Remove cooling fan and shroud. Release belt tensioner and remove accessory drive belt. Remove water pump pulley. Remove retaining bolts, water pump and "O" ring.
  2. To install, reverse removal procedure. Lubricate "O" ring with coolant before installing. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  table at end of article. Fill cooling system with Ford Coolant (E2FZ-19549-AA).
