Rear Crankshaft Oil Seal

  1. Remove transaxle and flexplate. Remove oil seal from seal retainer. Using Seal Installer (T91P-6701-A), install oil seal. Tighten bolts to specification. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  table at end of article.
  2. If seal retainer is removed from cylinder block, apply sealant on cylinder block before installing seal retainer. Install bolts and tighten to specification in sequence. See Fig 1. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  table at end of article.
