Front Cover Oil Seal: Installation

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Lubricate seal bore and seal lip with engine oil before installing. Use Seal Installer (T88T-6701-A1 and A2) to install oil seal.
  2. Apply silicone sealant to keyway of crankshaft damper before installing. Tighten bolts to specification. See, at end of article, TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  table.
