Exhaust Manifold: Installation

  1. To install, reverse removal procedure. Tighten bolts to specification in sequence. See Fig 1. See TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS  table at end of article.
  2. When installing fuel lines, install new "O" rings on fuel lines. Use only specified fuel resistant "O" rings (Brown in color). Lightly coat "O" rings with clean engine oil before installing. Clean fittings and replace garter spring (if necessary).
  3. To complete installation, reverse removal procedure. Tighten all bolts to specification. Fill cooling system with Ford Coolant (E2FZ-19549-AA). Evacuate and recharge A/C system.
