Removal & Installation: Camshaft: Inspection

Inspect journal diameter, lobe lift, oil clearance and runout. Replace camshaft if not within specification. See CAMSHAFT table under ENGINE SPECIFICATIONS at end of article.

NOTE: Standard and .015" (.38 mm) undersize camshaft bearings are available.
