No Tach Indication Or Tach Indication Erratic
- Ensure engine is operating properly and is not misfiring. If misfiring, repair problem as required. If engine is operating properly, remove instrument cluster. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER under REMOVAL & INSTALLATION in this article. Wiggle connections and wiring near coil while measuring resistance between pin "9C" and coil.
- If resistance reads less than 100 ohms, replace speedometer module. Recheck cluster operation. If reading is more than 100 ohms, repair open in circuit wiring.
