Instrument Panel - Electronic: Operation: Notes

The electronic cluster is operational only when ignition switch is in the "RUN" position. When ignition switch is first turned from "OFF" to "RUN" position, the electronic modules will be tested by momentarily lighting all displays and then momentarily turning displays off. After initial testing, the electronic modules return to normal operation.

When a switch is pressed, a tone (beep) will sound to indicate that the switch has been recognized by the electronic module. Tones are emitted through a tone generator located on the right steering column opening support.
