"Service" Light Does Not Go Out When Reset

  1. Verify that 3 beeps are heard when service reminder is reset (simultaneously push both the "ODO SEL" and "TRIP RESET" buttons). If beeps are heard, replace speedometer module. If not, go to next step.
  2. Press "ODO SEL" button. Display should change between regular and trip odometers. If okay, go to next step. If not, perform SWITCH TEST (MODULE DOES NOT RESPOND TO BUTTONS) test.
  3. Call up odometer with "ODO SEL" button. Press "TRIP RESET" button. Trip odometer should zero. If okay, replace speedometer module. If not, perform SWITCH TEST (MODULE DOES NOT RESPOND TO BUTTONS) test.
