Grille, Lower: Removal

REMOVAL - STANDARD

1. Remove the fascia. Refer to FASCIA, FRONT, REMOVAL .
2. Remove the fog lights. Refer to LAMP, FOG, REMOVAL .
3. Working from the inside of the fascia, remove the six screws (la) attaching the lower grille (lb).
4. Release the various perimeter retainers (2a) then remove the lower grille (1b).

REMOVAL - TREKKING

1. Remove the fascia. Refer to FASCIA, FRONT, REMOVAL .
2. Undo the bottom attaching screw (1a) of the molding (1b).

3. Remove the molding (lb) attaching screws (la).
4. Remove the molding (1b) releasing its inner retainers.

5. Release the various wiring (1e) retainers (1b) from the grille (1a).
6. Remove the screws (2a) which attach the grille (1a) to the fascia.
7. Release the various perimeter retainers (3a) of the grille (1a) from the fascia.

8. Separate the grille (la) from the fascia (lb).

9. If necessary, remove the inside screws (1a) and bottom screws (1b) of the grille.

10. Separate the two parts of the grille.
11. Remove the air dam if necessary. Refer to AIR DAM, FRONT, REMOVAL .
