Section 57 (Clutch System - 500): Flywheel: Removal

  1. Remove the transmission. Refer to REMOVAL .

  2. Install Flywheel Locking Tool (special tool #10272, Tool, Flywheel Locking).

  3. Remove clutch pressure plate and disc. Refer to DISC, CLUTCH, REMOVAL .
  4. Remove the flywheel-to-crankshaft bolts (1) and remove the flywheel assembly.
