Antenna, Satellite: Removal

WARNING:

On vehicles equipped with the high voltage system, disconnecting the 12-volt battery negative cable alone will not power down the 12-volt system. You must perform the 12-volt Power Down procedure before proceeding. Failure to follow these instructions may result in possible serious or fatal injury.

  1. Disconnect and isolate the 12-volt negative battery cable.
  2. Power down the high-voltage system. Refer to HIGH-VOLTAGE POWER DOWN PROCEDURE .
  3. Remove the antenna mast.
  4. Remove the headliner (1). Refer to HEADLINER, REMOVAL .

  5. Disengage the antenna cable from the cable routing clip.
  6. Disconnect the antenna wiring connector (1) from the body side antenna connector (2).
  7. Remove the antenna retainer (3).

  8. Pull the antenna assembly (1) from the roof (2) of the vehicle.
