Module, Park Assist: Removal

WARNING:
On vehicles equipped with the high voltage system, disconnecting the 12-volt battery negative cable alone will not power down the 12-volt system. You must perform the 12-volt Power Down procedure before proceeding. Failure to follow these instructions may result in possible serious or fatal injury.
- Perform the 12-Volt Power Down procedure. Refer to 12-VOLT POWER DOWN .
- Remove the trim from the right quarter inner panel to access the Park Assist Module (PAM) (4) located near the base of the inner C-pillar. Refer to PANEL, QUARTER TRIM, REAR, REMOVAL .
- Disconnect the two (with rear park assist) or three (with front and rear park assist) body wire harness connectors (2) from the PAM connector receptacles.
- Remove the screw (1) that secures the PAM to the right quarter inner panel.
- Slide the PAM upward far enough to disengage the lower mounting tab from the stamped pocket (3) in the right quarter inner panel.
- Remove the PAM from the vehicle.
