Tube, Mechanism: Removal

  1. Remove the headliner (1). Refer to HEADLINER, REMOVAL .

  2. Remove the sunroof motor. Refer to MOTOR, SUNROOF, REMOVAL .

  3. Disconnect wire ties from the wiring harness to the mechanism tubes (3).
  4. Remove the fastener (2) from the center of the mechanism tube.
  5. Remove the two fasteners (1) from the end of the mechanism tube.
  6. Repeat on the opposite side.
  7. Slide the bowden cables out of the mechanism tubes by pull mechanism tubes rearward.
  8. Remove mechanism tube assembly from the vehicle.
