Guide, Sunroof, Glass: Removal

Remove the sunroof glass (3). Refer to GLASS, SUNROOF, REMOVAL .

CAUTION:
Do not allow the sunroof guide belts to route under the sunroof guides. Damage to the sunroof guide belts may occur.
Use the sunroof switch to move the sunroof glass guides (1) toward the full closed position, stopping periodically to inspect the sunroof guide belts (2) positioning.
The sunroof glass guide belts (2) will curl under the sunroof guides, do not allow them to be pinched, stop and redirect the sunroof guide belts (2) to remain out from under the sunroof glass guides (1).

Release the sunroof wind deflector by pulling forward on the arm that connects the sunroof wind deflector (1) to the sunroof glass guide (2).
Repeat on the opposite side.

Remove fastener (2) from the wind deflector spring (1).
Slide the wind deflector spring (1) forward to release from under the tabs.
Repeat on the opposite side.

Remove the headliner (1). Refer to HEADLINER, REMOVAL .

Remove the sunroof sunshade (2). Refer to SUNSHADE, SUNROOF, REMOVAL .

Remove the sunroof motor (3). Refer to MOTOR, SUNROOF, REMOVAL .

Remove the five sunroof glass guide fasteners (2) from the sunroof frame (1).

Slide the sunroof guide (1) forward and then lift up.
Continue pulling the forward sunroof guide (1) forward until the bowden cable (2) is completely removed.
