DECKLID/Hatch/Liftgate/Tailgate/Swing Gate: Spoiler: Installation

1. Position the spoiler slightly above the mounting location on the liftgate.
2. Connect the stop lamp wiring connector (1).
3. Connect the washer nozzle hose (2).
4. Inspect the wiring and washer hose grommet to the liftgate to be certain it is fully and properly seated.

5. Align the three spoiler retainers (2) and mounting fastener studs to the appropriate holes in the liftgate.
6. Insert the spoiler (1) onto the liftgate. Be certain the three retainers (2) are fully engaged.

7. Raise the liftgate and remove the block or equivalent previously placed.
8. Install the four nuts (2) and tighten securely.
9. Install the two outer bolts (1) and tighten securely.

10. Install the upper (1) and lower liftgate trim panels. Refer to PANEL, TRIM, LIFTGATE, INSTALLATION .
11. Connect the battery negative cable.
12. Close the liftgate.
