Tank, Fuel, Auxiliary: Removal

Disconnect and isolate the negative battery cable.
Disconnect the electrical connectors (2) from the auxiliary fuel level sensor.
Disconnect the electrical connector (3) from the auxiliary fuel pump.

Reposition the pressurized coolant bottle. Refer to BOTTLE, PRESSURIZED COOLANT, REMOVAL .
Remove the bolt (2) and disengage the auxiliary fuel tank (1) from the grommets.
If necessary, remove the auxiliary fuel tank cap and drain the fuel from the tank.
If required, remove the auxiliary fuel pump from the auxiliary fuel tank. Refer to PUMP, FUEL, AUXILIARY, REMOVAL .
If required, remove the auxiliary fuel level sensor from the auxiliary fuel tank. Refer to SENDING UNIT AND SENSOR, FUEL LEVEL, AUXILIARY, REMOVAL .
