This diagnostic checks for the availability of the Ignition Key Status signal which is sent by the Body Controller Module (BCM) via a CAN message. The Ignition Key Status possible values include the following: 0) Lock, 1) Off, 2) Accessory, 3) Off and Accessory, 4) Run, 5) Start and 7) Signal Not Available (SNA). The diagnostic checks the signal availability by checking if the received value is not equal to the SNA default value.
