This diagnostic checks for the availability of both Rear Wheel Speed signals which are sent by the Anti-lock Braking System (ABS) via a CAN message. The TCM uses this information to calculate the vehicle speed. The diagnostic determines the availability of both Rear Wheel Speed signals by checking the valid bit.
