Diagnostic Test

- CHECK FOR BCM CAN BUS DTCS
- With the scan tool, read BCM DTCs.
Are any BCM CAN BUS DTC's present?
Yes
- Refer to DIAGNOSIS AND TESTING and perform the appropriate diagnostic procedure. Perform the diagnostic procedure for DTC U0001-CAN C BUS first if it is present.
- Perform C635 DDCT TRANSMISSION VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
No
- Go To 2
- With the scan tool, read BCM DTCs.
- CHECK IF ENGINE DTC'S ARE PRESENT
- With the scan tool, read engine DTCs.
Are any engine DTC's present?
Yes
- Refer to the DTC INDEX - 500L and perform the appropriate diagnostic procedure.
- Perform C635 DDCT TRANSMISSION VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
No
- Using the schematics as a guide, check the Transmission Control Module (TCM) terminals for corrosion, damage or terminal push out. Pay particular attention to all power and ground circuits. If no problems are found, replace and program the TCM in accordance to the Service Information.
- Perform C635 DDCT TRANSMISSION VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
- With the scan tool, read engine DTCs.
