This diagnostic checks if the even clutch is stuck in the disengaged position due to a mechanical fault or due to a low hydraulic pressure. In both cases, a failure is detected when the Transmission Controller Module (TCM) sends a control signal to engage the even clutch and the even clutch pressure sensor indicates that the clutch is disengaged.
