Check 1

The failure is detected if the even clutch speed sensor output is equal to zero.

Check 2

When the absolute value of the difference between the actual even clutch speed sensor output and the previous even clutch speed sensor output is greater than a threshold, this value is accumulated in an integral sum. The failure is detected if this integral sum is greater than a threshold within a calibratable amount of time.

Check 3

The failure is detected if the absolute value of the difference between the even clutch speed sensor output and the engine speed via CAN message is greater than a threshold and the absolute value of the difference between the even clutch speed sensor output and the even clutch speed that is estimated from driveline speed is greater than a threshold.

Check 4

The failure is detected if the absolute value of the difference between the even clutch speed sensor output and the even clutch speed that is estimated from the ABS wheel speed CAN message is greater than a threshold.
