Enable Conditions for Odd Clutch

This diagnostic is performed if the ignition key is on or the TCM control unit is in power-on state, the engine is not in cranking mode, the engine is in run mode, there is no gear shift in progress, the actual gear is an odd gear (1st, 3rd, 5th, Reverse), engine torque is greater than a threshold and the output signal of the odd clutch position sensor indicates that the odd clutch is fully engaged.

Power supply must be between 7 volts and 24 volts and Main Micro Processor (MMP) supply has not failed.

The CAN Bus off fault is not set, the CAN communication between TCM and the PCM is valid.

The odd clutch speed sensor has no rationality faults or the driveline speed diagnostic test has not failed, the odd clutch position sensor diagnostic has not failed, the engine speed diagnostic has not failed and the sensor ground reference diagnostic has not failed.

Enable Conditions for Even Clutch

This diagnostic is performed if the ignition key is on or the TCM control unit is in power-on state, the engine is not in cranking mode, the engine is in run mode, there is no gear shift in progress, the actual gear is an even gear (2nd, 4th, 6th), engine torque is greater than a threshold and the output signal of the even clutch pressure sensor indicates that the even clutch is fully engaged.

Power supply must be between 7 volts and 24 volts and Main Micro Processor (MMP) supply has not failed.

The CAN Bus off fault is not set, the CAN communication between TCM and the PCM is valid.
