Repair

Check transmission hydraulic operation, transmission mechanical operation, and valve body in accordance with the Service information. Repair as necessary.
Inspect the Odd and Even clutches in accordance with the Service information for excessive wear.
If no hydraulic, mechanical, or clutch problems are found, and using the schematics as a guide, check the Transmission Control Module (TCM) terminals and connectors for corrosion, damage, or terminal push out. Pay particular attention to all power and ground circuits. Check for any Service Information Tune-ups or Service Bulletins for possible causes that may apply. If no problems are found, replace and program the Transmission Control Module (TCM) in accordance with the Service Information.
Perform the C635 DDCT VERIFICATION TEST. Refer to STANDARD PROCEDURE .
