High Temperature, Oil Level Or Coolant Level Indicator Light Stays On Test
- Ensure all fluid levels are good. Ensure ignition switch is in RUN position. Disconnect each switch connector for high temperature, coolant level and oil level switch one at a time while checking if indicator light goes out. If indicator light does go out, replace defective switch.
- If indicator light stays on with all switch connectors disconnected, locate and repair short to ground in wiring between switch connectors and instrument cluster connector. Repair as required. See Figure . See WIRING DIAGRAMS .
