Theory Of Operation

The purpose of this diagnostic is to detect electrical failures of the Transmission Fluid Pressure Sensor circuit. The pressure sensor measures the oil pressure which actuates both dog clutches. The monitoring is performed by comparing the sensor voltage to calibrated thresholds.
