Valve, Exhaust Gas RECIRCULATION (EGR): Installation

Install a NEW gasket to the EGR valve.

1 - EGR Tube Clamp

2 - EGR Valve Nuts

3 - EGR Valve

4 - EGR Valve Wire Harness Connector

Position the EGR valve, then install and tighten the nuts to the proper torque specification. Refer to TORQUE SPECIFICATIONS - EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION .
Install the EGR tube. Refer to TUBE, EXHAUST GAS RECIRCULATION (EGR), CROSSOVER, INSTALLATION .
Connect the EGR valve wire harness connector.

NOTE:

Perform EGR valve re-learn procedure if replacing with new EGR valve.
