Valve, Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV): Installation
- Clean and inspect the sealing surfaces of the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) valve and cylinder head cover. The seal can be reused provided it is free of cuts or tears.
- Install the PCV valve and securely tighten the two fasteners (1).
- Install the PCV hose (1) to the PCV valve.
- Install the PCV hose to the intake manifold.
- Install the coolant tubes nuts to the cylinder head cover and the securely tighten the nuts.
- Install the coolant tube bolt to the rear of cylinder head and securely tighten the bolt.
- Install the air cleaner resonator. Refer to RESONATOR, AIR CLEANER, INSTALLATION .
