Rear Catalytic Converter

  1. Remove the crossunder pipe. Refer to PIPE, EXHAUST CROSSUNDER, REMOVAL .
  2. Remove the upstream and down stream oxygen sensors. Refer to SENSOR, OXYGEN, REMOVAL .

  3. Remove the catalytic converter support bracket bolt (2).

  4. Remove the top two bolts (1) from the catalytic converter (2).
  5. Remove the catalytic converter (2) by lifting up and sliding it out the bottom of vehicle.

  6. Remove the catalytic convertor bracket to cylinder head bolts (1), gasket (2) and the catalytic converter bracket (3).
