Front Catalytic Converter

  1. Remove the crossunder pipe. Refer to PIPE, EXHAUST CROSSUNDER, REMOVAL .
  2. Remove the upstream and down stream oxygen sensor. Refer to SENSOR, OXYGEN, REMOVAL .

  3. Remove the upper catalytic converter to cylinder head bolts (1).
  4. Remove the catalytic converter by lifting up and sliding it out the bottom of the vehicle.

  5. Remove the catalytic convertor bracket to cylinder head bolts (1), gasket (2), and the catalytic converter bracket (3).
